(res.) Roi Danino and Ariel Averbuch. The Jerusalem Post writes that it “positions itself as an explicit rebuttal” of NAZA, the documentary by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor.
According to the Jerusalem Post, the film is built around three subjects: “the systematic exploitation of civilian areas by terrorists, the severe operational limitations imposed on troops by the presence of hostages, and the immense security risks involved in facilitating humanitarian aid deliveries”.
The film's own site describes scenes like these:
Its makers told the Jerusalem Post: “This is an offensive film, not a defensive one.”
NAZA rests on 24 anonymous interviewees, filmed with their faces and voices altered. Naza: The Real Story, in the words of the Jerusalem Post, “features open interviews with active intelligence officers and frontline military commanders”.
NAZA is showing in cinemas. Naza: The Real Story is online and free.
The two films share a word, so they are easy to mix up in a search. NAZA is the film by Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor. Naza: The Real Story is the Israeli reply to it.
On 4 October 2026 Israel's Channel 14 reported more than 7.5 million views. On 5 October Variety reported that the film's website put the number at more than 20 million. This site has no way to check either figure.
The film's home is nazadocumentary.com. It plays there free, with subtitles in 39 languages, Hebrew, English, Arabic and Russian among them.
nazagaza.com does not host the film and is not connected to it or to its makers. This site covers the written side: the IDF's own answers to NAZA, claim by claim.
